Senior Project/Product Manager - French Speaking

1. Job Description

As a Senior Project/Product Manager at BFast System, you will oversee the entire project/product development process - from start to delivery. Thanks to your experience and technical acumen, you are able to properly assess whether estimates are correct, and review technical specifications, architecture, networking plans, security, scalability, and infrastructure activities. Further, you will be managing and motivating software developers and other team members, giving customer presentations, and writting project proposals.

Tech: Understand tech trends and tech specifications, can make recommendations. technical approach to internal needs.

Planning: Expert at identifying scopes, scheduling, settings priorities and goals, gantt charts, managing sprints

People: Lead projects' teams, collaborate with clients, mentor team members and junior PO/PMs

Communication: External and internal, coordination, transfer or information, reporting

Product Expertise: Deep knoledge of product, responsible for both strategic and tactical activities, gathering requirements and documenting detailed user stories.

2. Duties and Responsibilities

• Discussing potential projects and their parameters with clients, executives, and software developers.
• Analyze clients' needs and translate them into requirements.
• Ability to work well with internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects and quality assurance. Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
• Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the industry and in general. Able to make recommendations on which new technologies to invest in or leverage.
• Planning out the blueprints/roadmap for software projects, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication straegies, tests, success criteria for testing and product acceptance and maintenance
• Obtaining client's acceptance of project deliverables.
• Creating a project budget and ensuring the adheres to the budget as closely as possible.
• Assess and address technical risks.
• Leading the project team, participating in and supervising each stage of the project.
• Tracking milestones, deliverables, and change requests.
• Serving as a liaison to communicate information regarding changes, milestones reach, and reporting other pertinent information.
• Faciliate the creation and maintenance of proper project/product documentation.
• Delivering completed software products to clients and performing regular checks on the products's performance.
• Mentoring Junior Product/Project Managers

Reporting to: Program Manager, Development Director.

3. Job Requirements

To be considered for this position, our must-have requirements are:

• Language: Professional Working Proficiency in French ( C2 level or similar) And either: Professional Working Proficiency in English (TOEIC 900+, IELTS 7.5+) OR Vietnamese ( Fluent or Native)
• Qualification:

1. Bachelor's degree or Master's degree
2. Minimum 4 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager of Project Manager
3. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in product development/project delivery/ software project management.
4. Excellent communication, motivational and collaboration skills.
5. Strong ability to influence cross-funtional teams and leadership.
6. Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
7. Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

• Nice to have

1. Master's degree in relevant field
2. 5+ years of working with software/web development teams
3. Prefered: French Native Communication
4. Prefered: Relevant certifications ( PMP, Management, Agile, etc )
5. Prefered: Experience with Jira and Atlassian tools
6. Experience handling multiple projects at the same time
7. Experience working with remote teams.
8. Experience implementing practices such as Total Product Maintenance (TPM), Scrum, technical PMS (Product Management Systems), and Agile systems
