Job Summary
The Senior Frontend Developer (Vue.js) is responsible for building high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. This role involves leading frontend architecture decisions, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using Vue.js
- Lead frontend architecture, performance optimization, and best practices
- Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible, and reusable components
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Conduct code reviews and enforce frontend standards
- Mentor junior and mid-level frontend developers
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
- Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and trends
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and planning sessions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of frontend development experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
- Extensive experience with Vue.js
- Experience with Vuex / Pinia for state management
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and frontend-backend integration
- Experience with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack)
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript
- Knowledge of Nuxt.js
- Experience with UI frameworks (Vuetify, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap)
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
