We are looking for a Backend Developer responsible for building and maintaining scalable server-side applications, APIs, and database systems. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-performance and secure backend services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems
- Optimize database queries and improve system performance
- Integrate third-party services and APIs
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features
Technical Requirements
Required:
- Strong experience in one of the backend languages:
- Node.js / Java / Python / PHP / Go / .NET
- Experience working with RESTful APIs
- Good knowledge of databases:
- SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)
- Understanding of OOP, design patterns, and data structures
- Familiar with Git version control
- Basic understanding of system design and architecture
Preferred:
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (adjustable by level)
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environment
- Experience building high-traffic systems
- Knowledge of security best practices
