Job Title: Scrum Master

Reports To: Project Manager / Head of Delivery
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile development processes and ensure the team delivers high-quality products efficiently. The ideal candidate will guide cross-functional teams in applying Scrum principles, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a servant leader and coach for one or more Agile teams.
- Facilitate key Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure the team adheres to Agile/Scrum principles, practices, and values.
- Work closely with Product Owners to manage product backlogs and maintain clear priorities.
- Identify and remove impediments or blockers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Track team performance through metrics such as velocity and sprint burndown.
- Promote transparency and effective communication across teams and stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement by encouraging reflection and adaptation within the team.
- Help build a collaborative, motivated, and accountable team culture.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to coach teams and drive change in a collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with distributed or cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of software development processes and lifecycle management.
- Exposure to scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
