Responsibilities:
● Perform analysis on inbound consumer data, finding new and unique insights.
● Support and manage end-to-end research design, execution, analysis and presentation of recommendations for studies that address the customer journey and key strategic objectives.
● Create a suite of custom questionnaires with unique strategic takeaways.
● Develop research proposals; understand business unit's objectives, scope projects, develop appropriate methodologies to meet objectives, and pricing.
● Scope, field, facilitate focus group interviews with customer base.
● Pro-actively engage and communicate insights company wide and advocate on behalf of our customers.
● Synthesize complex data to generate viable recommendations to executive team.
● Work with external research vendors on project specific issues.
● Work closely with the Director and Vice President of Customer Excellence
● Research and develop new methods of gaining deeper consumer insights leveraging newer technology.
Qualifications:
● Very analytical. Able to work with data in a variety of platforms and from a multitude of sources. Comfortable delving into the details of the data.
● 5-10 years of experience, agency experience (B-C/ FMCG)
● A Bachelor’s degree with a preferred concentration in market research, statistics, consumer research, and or Marketing.
● Familiarity with data analytics tools
● Segmentation, analytics, customer journey mapping, research, testing methodologies & recruitment, focus groups, attitude and usage studies, data integration and vendor management, brand positioning, creative concept, data manipulation and combination, visualization of insights.
● Has strong implementation skills, the ability to meet deadlines while not losing sight of deadlines and is able to prioritize effectively
● Self-Starter and inquisitive. Has the ability to work independently after establishing goals with supervisor(s) and take a critical approach to new processes.
● Comfortable learning new systems and analysis methodology.
● Ability to work cross functionally between market research and product development, as well as interaction with Marketing, Strategic Research, and Product Development.
