Reporting to the APAC Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing new and existing data projects across the operating companies within DAN. You will review, analyze, manage & recommend course of action across the projects they are leading from inception to completion.
You will be responsible for working with cross-functional team members across both DAN and third parties. Work with the required legal teams to ensure clearance on the correct data usage and management to ensure that we comply with country/state regulations and legal requirements.
You will keep an accurate record of progress on all projects, monitor progress against the agreed timelines, and keep management apprised of any issues that may arise, along with recommendations on addressing them along with taking ownership for driving the team in the process to meet the project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
· Main point of contact for the operating companies during all elements of the project lifecycle
· Manage projects through the Agile project lifecycle using Atlassian tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
· Manage projects to the agreed scope detailed within the individual business case or statement of work
· Ensure communication is regular and clear to the various stakeholders on project progress
· Manage P0 and P1 issues within the agreed SLAs and regularly communicate to the client teams on progress
· Working with the Delivery Manager, make recommendations on improving and automating the delivery and reporting process
· Ensure adherence to data governance policies across all client projects
· Document and use lessons learned from delivery of each project/product continual improvement in the team’s delivery capability
· Reporting: use readily available tools and reports within the Atlassian product suite to keep management and product stakeholders informed on progress across workstreams
· Ensuring timesheets are completed by the team against the correct projects/workstreams and reported correctly for billing accuracy
Experience
· Minimum of 4 years project management experience in data products and technologies
· Working within the media industry preferred
· Knowledge of data technologies and development languages a plus
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
· The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work well under pressure
· You will have strong organization, planning and prioritizing skills
· The ability to work autonomously and take your own initiative is an important part of the role
· Due to the nature of the role, it is important for you to be adaptable and flexible to ensure that issues get resolved within the required timeframes
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and activities simultaneously
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment
