Job description for Purchaser at Shui Xing Ventures Sdn Bhd
- To oversee the Purchasing department of the company
- To be able to communicate with vendors for the best price
- Responsible to prepare and process purchase orders and all related documents according to the order request, delivery/incoming shipment follow-up/collection and etc.
- Liaise with Suppliers on all quotation, samples, review on inventories, orders and stock planning
- Responsible to monitor and resolve purchase related discrepancies, delivery, quality and quantity
- Ensure all purchase requests are made in timely, accurate and cost-effective way.
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Purchasing or equivalent
- Preferably 2-3 years of working experience in Purchasing in a Logistics industry
- Proficient in Autocount System and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Possess a positive working attitude, initiative, willing to learn, problem-solving attitude and is a good team player
- The ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with other people within the company
- An ability to prioritize and manage expectations
- Well planned, organized with keen attention to detail
- An ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate in Cantonese or Hokkien will be an advantage
