Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Project Manager with a strong background in banking transactions and merchant services. This role will be responsible for leading end-to-end implementation and migration projects, working closely with stakeholders across banking and fintech ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage banking-related projects, specifically within merchant acquiring and transaction processing domains.
Oversee the migration of merchant services systems, including BOS migration and acquiring platform transitions.
Drive project planning, scope definition, resource allocation, risk management, and delivery tracking.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technology, operations, compliance, vendors) to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Work with tools such as Rally and manage big-ticket items across project timelines.
Ensure alignment with target platforms such as Fiserv Omnipay or similar systems.
Regularly report project status, risks, and issues to senior management and key stakeholders.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure third-party deliverables meet expectations and SLAs.
Required Skills and Experience:
5–7 years of project management experience, preferably in banking, payments, or fintech sectors.
Strong knowledge of banking transaction flows, merchant services, acquiring platforms, and settlement systems.
Experience in managing system migration projects, particularly in acquiring or core banking environments.
Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Rally, JIRA, MS Project).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus.
Nice to Have:
Experience working with Fiserv Omnipay or similar merchant acquiring systems.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the banking and payment domains.
Background in Agile or SAFe project environments.
