Job Overview
We are looking for a Product Marketing Executive to join our team and drive the growth of Shopify apps under the BSS Commerce brand. This role focuses on launching, optimizing, and managing a group of Shopify apps to maximize reach and user adoption. You will play a key role in developing go-to-market strategies, enhancing traffic, and nurturing user engagement across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new Shopify app launches, ensuring successful product positioning and market penetration.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitors, and trends.
- Conduct ASO (app store optimization) best practices to increase organic visibility and conversions by implementing keyword research, app descriptions, screenshots and other tactics.
- Collaborate with internal teams (content, design, development) to produce high-quality & engaging marketing content & materials, including landing pages, blogs, case studies, media and promotional assets.
- Nurture and engage users through owned channels such as email marketing, websites, social and in-app communications.
- Track and provide actionable reports for app performance, app rank, marketing campaign results, and user behaviors.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager to support team goals and business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in Product Marketing. Experience in Shopify apps, mobile apps or eCommerce platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g. Brevo) and design tools (e.g. Figma) is a plus.
- Design landing pages and websites using drag-and-drop WordPress builders, apply basic SEO, and using AI for content creation is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics 4) and product analytics tools is a plus.
- Excellent written English skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
