Product Manager (Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam)
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and business-oriented Product Manager to join our growing team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role is responsible for driving product strategy, gathering business requirements, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful product delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Planning
- Define product vision, roadmap, and priorities aligned with business objectives.
- Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and business challenges to drive product improvements and innovation.
- Conduct business analysis and translate business requirements into clear product specifications.
- Work closely with management and stakeholders to ensure product initiatives support company growth objectives.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation including:
- Product Requirement Documents (PRD)
- User Stories
- Functional Specifications
- Process Flows
- Release Notes
- Product Roadmaps
- Ensure documentation remains accurate and up-to-date throughout the product lifecycle.
- Utilize AI tools and modern productivity platforms to create, organize, improve, and maintain documentation efficiently.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Coordinate effectively with:
- Software Developers
- QA Engineers
- UI/UX Designers
- Customer Support Team
- Sales & Marketing Team
- Management Team
- Facilitate discussions, requirement clarification, prioritization, and project alignment.
Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate product progress, risks, and priorities to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead requirement review sessions, product demonstrations, and stakeholder meetings.
- Manage expectations and ensure alignment among all parties involved in product development.
Product Development & Delivery
- Work closely with development teams throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
- Prioritize product backlogs based on business value and customer impact.
- Monitor product performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Support product launches and post-release evaluations.
Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications
- Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or related role in a software/SaaS environment.
- Strong English communication skills (both spoken and written).
- Excellent business analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Solid understanding of business processes and product development methodologies.
- Proven experience translating business needs into product requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience coordinating both technical and non-technical teams.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong experience creating and maintaining product documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum product development methodologies.
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as:
- Jira
- Confluence
- Notion
- ClickUp
- Trello
- Similar platforms
- Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, or similar solutions) to improve documentation quality, productivity, and workflow efficiency.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Ability to communicate effectively with developers regarding technical requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a SaaS or technology company.
- Experience with HR Tech, Workflow Automation, ERP, CRM, or Business Process Solutions.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and customer journey mapping.
- Experience managing multiple products or projects simultaneously.
