Job description for Online Coding Tutor at Algonova
We are hiring : Coding Tutor (Fully Remote)
Algonova is an international IT & Mathematics school expanding across Southeast Asia. We're looking for passionate educators in Coding and Game Design to join our growing team and make a real impact on students' learning journey - all from the comfort of your own home.
Responsibilities
Teach Coding and Game Design to students aged 6 - 17 years old through interactive and engaging online sessions, for both private and group classes
Support students' comprehension and mastery of programming concepts at each learning stage
Deliver core classes using (Coding Knight, Scratch, Python, Python Pro 2)
Provide a personalized learning approach tailored to each student's needs and pace
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Experience in teaching, coaching, or mentoring kids minimum 1 year
Proficient in Coding/Programming, particularly Coding Knight, Scratch, Python, and Python Pro 2
Engaging teaching style, able to make kids feel comfortable and excited to learn
Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia & English (preferred)
Own a laptop/PC with microphone and camera in good condition
Available to work on weekends (days off taken on weekdays)
Available to teach minimum 25 hours/week within designated time slots:
Weekdays: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM WIB Weekends: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM WIB
This is a part-time role, ideal for those without a full-time commitment during afternoon hours
Available to teach on weekdays from atleast 4:00 PM onwards and flexible on weekends
