Network Engineer (Infrastructure)

JOB PURPOSE: To efficiently and effectively maintain, develop, troubleshoot and provision enterprise level Network and systems. To work within a growing and dynamic global IT team

1. Responsibilities:

• Monitor, diagnose and resolve problems related to Network and Systems
• Manage crisis situations and work under pressure to resolve problems.
• Perform automation through python, ansible to automate repetitive tasks.
• Produce relevant documentations and SOPs.
• Implement the break fix during incidents.
• To provide 2nd line technical support.
• Provide technical expertise for 1st line IT support staff, sharing technical knowledge.

2. Requirements:

• Be proficient and experienced in the implementation and management of the following technical disciplines:
• Good understanding for Infra Monitoring (Solar winds, Grafana and Prometheus),and DCIM tools.
• Good Understanding on Network Automation (Python and Ansible).
• Hands on Incident mgmt., Change management and Problem management.
• Good understanding of Routing (OSPF, BGP) and Switching (Vlan, VTP, STP, HSRP, EtherChannel e.t.c.)
• Exposure in Fortigate firewalls.
• Exposure in WLAN technologies.
• Exposure in Linux and Windows will be added advantage

The candidate must also:

• Certificate: CCNP or equivalent certification
• Have excellent telephone and email communications. Be approachable and friendly.
• Be able to organize and priorities workload.
• Be able to work within a team, facilitating team interaction.
• Be willing to work rotational on call basis to support out of business hours.
• Be willing to travel overseas.
