As a Motion Graphics Artist, you will make motion graphics for international brands across toys, healthcare, consumer goods and industrial sectors, working with our Producers here in Vietnam and our teams in Denmark, Germany and the UK.
You will work on projects of a creative nature as well as adaptation work for larger campaigns. One asks you to make something good out of a rough brief - timing, movement, the calls that make it work. The other asks you to carry an approved piece correctly across formats, ratios and languages, often many at a time, which takes precision and a systematic approach rather than invention. Most people are stronger on one and competent at the other, and that is fine - tell us which one is yours.
You will be part of the 3D & Motion Department and expected to contribute creatively and professionally as part of the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take a brief and turn it into a finished motion graphic - timing, pacing, staging, the calls that make it good.
- Design and animate typography, graphic elements and transitions that suit the brand and hold together across a piece.
- Adapt and version approved work across formats, aspect ratios and languages without drift or loss of quality.
- Work to client CVIs and style guides while still making the animation feel considered rather than mechanical.
- Check your own deliverables against the brief and the guidelines before they go anywhere.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong command of After Effects, and working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere.
- A showreel where the animation itself is the value, with good timing, movement, polish and personality. We are less interested in whether you originated the concept than in how well you brought it to life.
- A systematic way of working. Sensible file and layer structure, naming that makes sense to whoever opens it next, and the habit of checking your own output before it goes out.
- Good English and a team-oriented mindset.
- Experience from an agency, studio or in-house team.
NICE TO HAVE
- None of these are requirements, but any of them would give you a head start:
- 2D character animation; rotoscoping and chroma keying; planar tracking in Mocha; particle systems such as Trapcode Particular; 2D rigging with DUIK or Limber; After Effects expressions, scripts and third-party plugins; Essential Graphics and .mogrt templates; multi-pass compositing; basic 3D compositing and integration; subtitling, SRT files and large-scale versioning; Figma Design and Figma Motion; familiarity with generative AI workflows.
- Nobody has all of it. Strong fundamentals, a good eye for motion and design, a reliable production mindset and an appetite to learn the rest will take you further here than a long tool list.
