Job description for Mentor - Cibubur at Wall Street English
- Deliver and strengthen the WSE Experience for our Members
- Support our Members proactively so that they achieve their goals
- Support with the organization and communicating of class schedules, events and its booking/reservation handling
- Engage with our Members to get Referrals and/or Renewals
- Supporting our Members progress by providing on going and consistent support, advice, coaching and feedback
- Understanding each individual learner’s psychology and tailoring your mentoring skills accordingly to provide guidance that is personalized to their needs
- Developing strong relationships both on-line and in person to build on trust and genuine care with a diverse Member community
- Promoting the Wall Street English Method and an all English environment in consistent and creative ways
- Keeping up to date and abreast of our Members progress to pass on relevant information to the Experience and Sales Teams and take necessary actions
- Being our Digital Lab/Speaking Center’s eyes and ears by proactively spotting and reading expressed and unexpressed needs from our Members to put in place the right supportive actions
- Working in our Digital Lab/Speaking Center, creating an interactive, friendly and supportive Member centered learning environment to ensure Members’ progress successfully.
- Ensuring each person that walks into the Center is greeted with a warm welcome and as per company policies and standards
- Managing the entrance/lobby area
- Driving Member progress through proactively booking classes and activities as well as managing requests and/or changes efficiently
- Being an Ambassador for your Center: engaging Members and motivating them on every occasion, as well as taking care of prospects to help support the sales team
- Promoting and applying the Wall Street English method in the Digital Lab/Speaking Center to ensure Member success and positively influence ongoing engagement
- Conducting our introductory First Lesson to new Members to explain how being part of WSE works and guarantee educational control
- Guiding Members through their course in our Digital Lab/Speaking Center
- Providing personalized feedback, coaching and support through Advising Sessions to ensure Members reach their goals
- Giving extra special support and attention during a Member’s first level
- Liaising with Experience and Sales Teams to provide feedback on Members’ progress and concerns
- Assisting and guiding Members in their learning and ensure they can engage with the local and global Community
- Broadcasting and openly celebrating Member achievements and success both within the center as well as online through our various digital channels
- Administering results of First Lessons, Second Lessons and Advising Sessions in the WSE Learner Management System
- Reporting any issues with hardware and software in our Digital Lab/Speaking Center
- GSE level 75 or CEFR C1
- University degree or in final year of studies of an English language degree
- Experience in teaching and/or tutoring and/or training is an advantage
- Experience working in a multinational team with different cultures
- Experience working or living in an English-speaking country is an advantage
- Detail-oriented; ability to prioritize work load for team to optimize efficiency
- Excellent interpersonal skills, supportive and service-minded
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across all levels in an organization
- Creative thinker and team player
- “Can do” personality
- Fluency in English and Bahasa both verbal and written is mandatory
- MS Office/IT literate
- Indonesian nationals preferred
