1. Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategy & planning
- Turn client business goals into digital media strategies: audiences, channel roles across the funnel, budget split and KPIs.
- Build media plans and forecasts with clear, realistic assumptions.
- Ground every recommendation in market, category and platform data.
Pitching & client growth
- Lead pitches end to end, from brief to final presentation, for marketing leads, business owners and C-level audiences.
- Act as the senior strategic contact for your clients; review results with them regularly and find opportunities to grow each account.
- Manage expectations early when results are at risk.
Working with the performance team
- Brief the team clearly on objectives, KPIs and budgets for every plan you win.
- Lead or coordinate performance team members on your accounts and steer actions when results drift off plan.
- Bring delivery learnings back into future plans and pitches.
2. Requirements:
- 5+ years in digital marketing, including 3+ years in media planning/strategy or client-facing account leadership, ideally at an agency.
- A pitch track record: you have led pitches and can walk us through your approach, including one you lost.
- Solid working knowledge of performance media (Meta, Google, TikTok, Zalo, e-commerce platforms) and metrics such as CPA, ROAS and conversion rate. Deep hands-on optimization skills are not required.
- Strong commercial sense: comfortable with budgets, forecasts and building plans in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Confident presenter in Vietnamese and professional English.
- Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- People management experience in an agency team.
- Exposure to data-driven marketing such as CRM, first-party data or conversion optimisation.
- Experience across varied categories (consumer, B2B or services).
