You will be responsible for procurement activities related to Print & Marketing Management. These may include but not be limited to print and display procurement, account management, liaising with clients and managing approvals of printed proofs and attending press checks.
Print and Display Procurement – Operational
▪ Liaise with client or client-preferred design/creative agencies to obtain detailed print brief
▪ Complying with the company systems and process standards:
o Complete print specifications within the Noosh system
o Obtain quotes
o Award orders to printers and production houses
o Complete close order and invoice process
▪ Work with creative and design agencies to ensure the artwork is print ready
▪ Identify the most appropriate printer for the job, based on a balance of competitiveness, quality and service. The balance of these objectives will be set
by the Account Director or other senior managers
▪ Manage printer quality and service for the specific jobs handled
▪ Manage printer proof approval process including reviewing the proof to ensure colour, layout, size etc. are as per the approved artwork
▪ Attend press checks to assist with colour management if required
▪ Ensure project stakeholders are regularly informed of project status via daily and weekly email updates
▪ Co-ordinate sampling and tooling if required for new or complex displays
Print and Display Procurement - Tactical
▪ Make recommendations about alternate print specifications that deliver either a cost, quality or timeliness benefit to the client
▪ Make design recommendations regarding colour and layout if it will deliver a cost or quality benefit to the client
▪ Source and deliver innovative print ideas
▪ Collaborate with Account Directors and Panel Manager to develop the most appropriate supply structure – including local vs offshore supply
▪ Assess the print and display specification needs of the account
▪ Provide advice on print and display design and specification development
▪ Develop print specification templates that can be loaded into Noosh
Account Management
As part of the Account Team, you will be responsible for servicing part of the account, which may include internal clients, creative/design agencies, pre-press agencies,
printers or others. To this end, the following activities will be considered part of the role:
▪ Understand and generally support account objectives
▪ Develop credible and trust-based relationships with all key stakeholders
▪ Manage key stakeholders to ensure specified service levels are met
▪ Rapidly elevate account issues to Account Director
▪ Collaborate with and support other partners
▪ Ensure that all client confidential information and intellectual property is used only for the purpose of delivering the services and not otherwise disclosed
Key Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
-A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field may be advantageous.
-Previous experiences in Procurement and logistics roles, a good understanding of purchasing systems and basic finance, plus a good understanding of MRP/ERP systems is preferred but not essential.
-Good communicator, both written and oral.
-Excellent team working, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
-Computer literate, especially in Microsoft Excel (advanced).
-Attention to detail is a key attribute, as is a proactive outlook.
-Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
