The Marketing Communication Executive in Branding, PR and Event scope will assist in the execution of marketing and communications strategy for our company. The following are the types of work you’ll actually perform:
A. Brand Management; Public Relations & Communications and Event Management (80%)
1. Brand Management
Brand Consistency: Ensure all publications, content, and messages across all platforms (Website, Social Media, Offline) strictly adhere to Brand Guidelines.
Content Creation: Responsible for producing creative content (Copywriting) for brand campaigns, service introductions, and Employer Branding initiatives.
Visual Management: Coordinate with the Design team to produce visual assets for projects and innovation programs (Innovation Awards, Reports, etc.).
2. Public Relations & Communications
Media Relations: Support in building and maintaining relationships with journalists and editors in the Tech/Economy/Startup sectors.
Press Materials: Draft press releases, PR articles, guest posts, and interview content for leadership.
Seeding & Community: Manage and interact within innovation communities to increase brand awareness (Social seeding).
Crisis Management: Assist the Manager in monitoring public sentiment and preparing preliminary communication response scenarios.
3. Event Management
Planning: Contribute ideas and develop detailed plans for events (Demo Days, Workshops, Webinars, Hackathons, Report Launch events, etc.).
Execution & Coordination: Partner with the Operations team and external vendors to manage logistics, technical setups, and guest experiences at events.
Event Communication: Take charge of pre-, during-, and post-event communication plans to optimize attendance and engagement.
B. Sales and Project Management (20%)
1. Sales
Generate sales leads through electronic communications such as email campaigns, pay per-click adverts, social media and website optimization for all products, services
Plan, organize and promote product specific events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions; and attend where required
Review, optimize and update the corporate website to ensure maximum visibility and accessibility, ensuring visitor retention
Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures
Conduct customer research
Keep current with professional sector news
Analyze and monitor competitors and their marketing strategies
Conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies
2. Project Management
Work with the team to develop marketing plans and strategies
Liaise with external contacts such as designers, print agencies and editors
Support the Marketing Manager and other colleagues in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses
Support all departments when required
