Job description for Legal Compliance Specialist at Nanovest
- Carry out ongoing regulatory submissions and Adhoc regulations including, engaging with regulators and internal stakeholders, coordinating responses internally and ensuring responses are appropriate and timely
- Create and review any legal documents related to or issued by the Company
- Build strong and productive relationships with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders
- Advise employees on regulatory and reputation-related matters, and act as a daily resource for compliance and policy issues
- Handle internal inquiries about regulatory and policy requirements and compliance procedures
- Provide input on legal issues that are being pursued by the Company
- Consult with the legal department and advise senior leadership and management on compliance issues
- Develop and provide training to company employees on compliance reporting policies, practices, and systems
- Identify, investigate, and report compliance issues, irregularities, and violations
- Maintain records of compliance activities
- Communicate with government agencies
- Prepare and file compliance reports
