Job Summary:
The Kindergarten Vice Principal supports the Principal in leading and managing the daily academic and operational activities of the Kindergarten level. This position ensures that all teaching and learning processes align with the school’s philosophy, values, and curriculum standards. The Vice Principal works closely with teachers, parents, and staff to create a nurturing, safe, and joyful environment that supports young children’s holistic growth — academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Early Childhood Education, Educational Management, Psychology or related field.
- Master’s Degree (S2) in Education Leadership, Curriculum, or Early Childhood Studies is an advantage.
- Applicants must be of the Christian faith.
- Holds a valid Educator Certification (Sertifikasi Pendidik).
- Strong understanding of child development (ages 3–6) and early learning principles.
- Knowledge of Indonesian education regulations and curriculum frameworks (e.g., Kurikulum Merdeka).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of mentoring teachers, facilitating parent communication, and maintaining positive school culture.
- Skilled in classroom observation, performance feedback, and early intervention strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital management tools.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both written and spoken).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Principal in leading, managing, and evaluating Kindergarten operations and programs.
- Supervise and mentor teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and child development practices.
- Ensure the effective implementation of the Kindergarten curriculum and learning standards.
- Support the development of school events, assessments, and reports.
- Build positive relationships with parents and ensure consistent communication regarding student progress.
- Monitor children’s emotional and social well-being and coordinate interventions when necessary.
- Uphold school policies, safety standards, and a caring learning environment.
- Promote teamwork, creativity, and professional collaboration among teachers.
- Lead initiatives that support early literacy, social-emotional learning, and character formation.
- Represent the Kindergarten team in meetings and school-wide planning sessions.
