Job Overview
Strategic Planning plays a central role in shaping brand and communication strategies for the client. As a Junior Strategic Planner, your role is to assist the planning team by conducting accurate desk research, collecting reliable data, and organizing insights in a logical way. You will contribute observations and initial ideas that help inform the team’s direction, while learning from and working closely with mid-level or senior planners. Junior Strategic Planner is expected to support project execution by ensuring tasks align with the overall strategy, but always with supervision and mentorship from more experienced planners.
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in receiving and analysing client requirements: Review client briefs, identify key information, and organize challenges, objectives, and brand context under guidance.
• Research & analysis:
o Collect accurate data from credible sources and conduct competitor activity reviews.
o Provide early observations or suggestions aligned with directions from mid-level or senior planners.
o Support in identifying potential target audience groups (under supervision).
o Explore interesting consumer behaviors or facts/truths that can be developed into insights.
• Strategy support: Provide supporting data, observations, and organized materials that assist mid‑level or senior planners in building brand and communication strategies.
• Collaboration with internal teams: Share findings and updates in a clear, structured way to support teamwork and alignment.
• Presentation & Communication: Prepare clean, error-free slides with logical flow to support team presentations. Deliver presentation clearly when required.
• Execution support: Assist in monitoring implementation and provide input to evaluate campaign performance under guidance.
Job Requirements
• At least 1-2 years of experience in marketing, branding, or agency environments
• Solid understanding of branding, communications, and consumer behavior (experience in the healthcare industry is a plus)
• Excellent analytical skills with logical and critical thinking
• Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with account, creative, and digital teams for campaign execution
• Strong communication skills in both Vietnamese and English
• Passion for marketing & communications.
