Job description for Junior Project Manager at Elux Space
About the role
We build websites and digital products for clients, and right now project coordination sits on too few people, which means things slip when several projects run at the same time.
We are hiring a Junior Project Manager to own the daily flow of client work: holding timelines honest, keeping designers and developers unblocked, and keeping clients informed before they have to ask.
This is not a note taking role. You will run projects. We will teach you the system, but you are the one who makes sure things ship.
What you'll do
- Run 1–3 projects at the same time, from kickoff to handover
- Break scope into tasks, set realistic deadlines, and track them in our project tool
- Be the main liaison for clients: weekly updates, meeting notes, follow-ups
- Sit between clients and the design/dev team so neither side is guessing
- Spot risks early (scope creep, late feedback, unclear requirements) and raise them before they become delays
- Prepare briefs, meeting agendas, and handover documents
- Keep project documentation clean enough that anyone can pick up where you left off
What we're looking for
Must have:
- 1–2 years of experience coordinating projects, clients, or teams. Internships, campus organizations, and freelance work count if you actually ran things.
- Written English good enough for client correspondence and documentation. Spoken English for calls is a plus.
- Able to follow up without being asked. This is the single most important trait for this role.
- Comfortable saying "this deadline isn't realistic" to both a client and your own boss
- Organized in a way other people can see. Your notes, files, and trackers make sense to someone else.
- Based in or able to commute within Yogyakarta(Hybrid Working)
