PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Junior AR Accountant is responsible for supporting the Accounts Receivable process by posting transactions, reconciling customer accounts, handling deductions, and assisting with collections. This role ensures timely and accurate reporting, supports smooth cash flow operations, and contributes to effective customer relationship management.
Accounts Receivable Processing & Reporting
- Post daily deposits for accounts
- Maintain account summary and report to senior manager on a regular basis
- Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable for Key Accounts
- Prepare and forward monthly Open Items Reports to customers
Deductions Management
- Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service, and customers
- Obtain approval for valid or authorized deductions
- Resolve invalid or unauthorized deductions by following established procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or related major.
- Around three (3) years experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy
- Experience with SAP is an asset
- Attention to detail
