Internal Accountant (Retail/Ecommerce)

About us

We are expanding our business into the retail sector through e-commerce platforms, offering quality products to meet customers' gifting needs and special occasions. We are looking for an Internal Accountant to support our Finance & Accounting team with daily accounting operations, including the following responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

1. Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Reconcile revenue with relevant departments to ensure that revenue figures are accurate and complete.
• Prepare and issue invoices in accordance with applicable regulations, ensuring that all invoice details are accurate and consistent with actual transactions.

2. Accounts Payable (AP)

• Receive and review payment requests to ensure that they are valid and properly supported by the required documents.
• Process payments in accordance with the company's procedures and approval authorities.
• Follow up on payment processing and ensure that payments are completed in a timely manner.

3. Banking & Cash Reporting

• Check daily bank transactions and verify their accuracy against relevant records.
• Prepare cash reports covering cash inflows, outflows, and balances.
• Investigate and clarify unidentified or unusual transactions, and resolve any discrepancies.

4. Documentation & Internal Control

• Review bank transactions and reconcile them with payment documents and accounting records.
• Prepare periodic cash flow reports covering inflows, outflows, and balances to help management monitor the company's cash position.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to provide financial data and supporting documents for audits, internal control activities, and tax authorities, as instructed by management.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

5. Monthly/Quarterly Tasks

• Review and verify accounting journal entries under the guidance of management.
• Download and organize bank statements and input/output VAT invoices for accounting records and reporting purposes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), or internal accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Detail-oriented, careful, and honest, with a strong sense of responsibility and risk awareness.

Working Hours & Location

• Working hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break, Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with the option to work from home.
• Location: Cobi Tower 2, Tan Phu Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
