Job description for Head of Recruitment at Breathe
We are on a mission to breathe life into careers, companies and communities.
Breathe is a social enterprise that provides career advice and recruitment services to the Tech ecosystem and coding workshops to disadvantaged youths.
We are leading the way by inspiring others to give back and providing a platform to ensure we “leave no one behind”.
Techies at heart, we were frustrated at the state of the industry. Candidates treated as commodities and clients like cash cows and no benefits or support provided to surrounding communities in need. So we created Breathe.
Breathe is a global, remotely distributed, highly autonomous, OKR driven organization. We empower our teams to succeed and then get the hell out of the way.
We are looking for someone who sees themselves as a leader, a self-starter and who is searching for a more dynamic environment where they can deliver real impact and have some fun along the way.
What you’ll do:
●Revenue generation - be personally responsible for generating your own revenue( $300k-$1m annual)
● Account Management - be the face for our existing client base, farm accounts, manage relationships and oversee the delivery
● New Business - Work with our team to approach new clients, manage sales calls, secure new clients and negotiate new contracts
● Manage delivery - Work with and lead a globally distributed sourcing team, to leverage tools and platforms too, engage with and assess engineers and introduce the best tech talent to our clients
● Candidate Management - engage with our candidates over zoom, phone and email to guide them through the process to success whilst providing an enjoyable experience.
● Work with our founder to continually grow and improve the Talent Team
Who you’ll be: (Ideally)
● Someone with a passion for impact and making a difference - experience in an NGO, Social Enterprise or mission driven organisation preferred.
● Someone who has strong experience as a Talent Partner or recruiter in agency or inhouse (ideally Tech, Sales, or C-Suite or willing to transition to this focus).
● You are confident at generating revenue in the recruitment space, across permanent, contract and retained searches or products.
● You have experience working with startups and ambitious tech companies
● You are confident working independently and working remotely
● You are confident interacting with clients and may even have a few that are already loyal
● You see yourself as a Rockstar, not a Superstar (and you know the difference)
● You have a passion for keeping customers happy and love interacting with and helping people What you’ll get:
