Game Economy Designer (Bangkok based)
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Product Owner and key stakeholders to understand the portfolio, product strategy, and roadmap for upcoming games.
Ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned with the company's product strategy.
Develop new game mechanics and designs to enhance player engagement.
Work alongside various teams to contribute to the creation of the next generation of leading games.
Conceptualize and implement game designs, creating mathematical models that align with defined constraints and exhibit desired behavioral characteristics.
Communicate and ensure that game implementations align with design specifications.
Execute simulations of specific game features to supplement theoretical calculations.
Test mathematical outcomes to ensure quality and accuracy.
Review games during implementation to verify they reflect the correct math model, making adjustments as needed to develop world-class math models.
Analyze performance data from the marketplace to identify future game mechanics and industry trends.
Evaluate post-launch game performance and provide insights into customer behavior.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Ability to organize design thinking processes that foster creativity and distinguish between good and great game ideas.
Experience in designing or contributing to the design of 10+ games, encompassing a variety of game types and math models.
Proven track record of developing successful game concepts and delivering top-performing slot games for land-based or online companies.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, with the ability to create and manage large, complex spreadsheets.
Experience collaborating with development teams to create or adapt simulation programs.
Strong expertise in combinatorics, probability theory, and statistics.
Knowledge of object-oriented program design.
Passion for playing games across multiple genres, with a particular interest in slots and casino games.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
