Job Description: Frontend Engineer Intern (Vietnam Office)
Overview
The Frontend Engineer Intern at GPC VN LTD will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining intuitive and responsive user interfaces for our digital products. This role is ideal for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in frontend development, modern JavaScript frameworks, and UI/UX best practices while working in a collaborative, agile, and DevOps-driven environment. The intern will work closely with experienced engineers to contribute to real-world projects and build foundational skills in software engineering.
Responsibilities
• Assist in developing and maintaining responsive web interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
• Support the implementation of UI designs and wireframes into functional code.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate APIs and ensure seamless frontend-backend functionality.
• Participate in code reviews, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Contribute to optimizing web applications for performance and cross-browser compatibility.
• Engage in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Learn and apply emerging frontend technologies under the guidance of senior engineers.
Qualifications
• Education: Currently pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Experience:
o Basic knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
o Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
o Exposure to frontend frameworks or libraries such as React.js or Next.js (coursework or personal projects acceptable).
• Skills:
o Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
o Eagerness to learn agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
o Ability to write clean and structured code.
o Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
o Good communication and teamwork abilities.
