Position: Account Manager – Indonesia (Feed Engineering & Equipment)
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia
Role Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Chinese agricultural and livestock equipment manufacturing company to hire an experienced and results-driven Account Manager to join their Feed Engineering Division. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key client relationships, driving business growth, and delivering engineered solutions for the animal feed processing industry across the Indonesia market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share in Indonesia.
2. Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, including animal feed mills, aquaculture feed producers, poultry and livestock feed manufacturers, and integrated farming operations across Indonesia.
3. Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term partnerships.
4. Coordinate with technical and project teams to ensure seamless delivery of engineering solutions, from proposal to commissioning.
5. Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to support product and service development.
6. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings across Indonesia.
7. Prepare and present commercial proposals, contracts, and regular performance reports to both clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Agricultural, or related field), Business, or a related discipline. An MBA is a plus.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within the feed processing, feed equipment, or related agricultural engineering industries.
3. Proven track record of managing accounts in the Indonesia market and achieving sales growth.
4. Strong understanding of feed processing technologies, including grinding, mixing, pelleting, extrusion, conveying, and automation systems.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
6. Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is highly desirable.
7. Willingness to travel frequently within Indonesia and occasionally to neighboring markets.
8. Self-motivated, culturally adaptable, and able to work independently in a matrix organization.
