Position: Cloud Engineer

We are building a new Cloud Engineer team focused on China Cloud technologies, starting with Tencent Cloud. The team will learn, build, migrate, and operate cloud infrastructure for customer projects across Southeast Asia. This is a good opportunity for engineers who want to become early specialists in a growing cloud platform instead of mature clouds.
Responsibilities:
- Learn Tencent Cloud architecture, services, and best practices.
- Build cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Deploy and operate Linux-based workloads on Tencent Cloud.
- Migrate applications from VMware, AWS, Azure, or on-premises environments to Tencent Cloud.
- Support proof-of-concepts (PoC), demos, and customer migration projects.
- Write technical documentation, deployment guides, and runbooks.
- Work with senior architects to design and implement cloud solutions.
- Continuously learn new cloud services and share knowledge with the team
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Fresh graduate to 3 years of experience.
- Basic knowledge of Linux administration.
- Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, Firewall).
- Basic knowledge of virtualization or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack, VMware, etc.).
- Experience with scripting (Bash or Python) is a plus.
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Good spoken and written English. Comfortable communicating in English during meetings and working with international customers and technology partners (Good for long-term carry-path)
