Job Summary
The ERP Consulting Manager will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of ERP implementation projects for clients in the US. This role emphasizes project management, team leadership, and client delivery execution over pre-sales support. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of consulting experience, operational discipline, and collaborative leadership to ensure high-quality outcomes for clients while developing and managing a high-performing consulting team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project & Delivery Leadership
● Lead full-cycle ERP implementation projects, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery aligned with scope and budget.
● Own project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
● Facilitate requirements gathering, solution design reviews, and critical milestone approvals.
● Ensure effective coordination across data migration, testing, training, and go-live phases.
● Serve as the primary escalation point for project challenges and lead resolution efforts.
2. Team Management & Coaching
● Manage, mentor, and support a team of 3–10 ERP consultants across multiple projects.
● Set performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and support skill development.
● Promote collaboration, accountability, and a continuous learning culture.
● Drive adoption of internal project standards, tools, and delivery methodologies.
3. Client Engagement & Relationship Management
● Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders through clear communication and consistent delivery.
● Maintain a strong understanding of client business goals to ensure solution alignment.
● Lead client check-ins, steering committee meetings, and post-implementation reviews.
4. Operational & Strategic Contribution
● Collaborate with leadership to improve project delivery frameworks and internal processes.
● Monitor project KPIs and contribute insights to improve team performance and efficiency.
● Support resource planning, project forecasting, and organizational scaling initiatives.
● Contribute to strategic planning conversations by providing a delivery-oriented perspective.
Qualifications & Experience
● 5–10 years of ERP implementation experience, including end-to-end delivery ownership.
● Proven track record in project management or delivery leadership roles.
● Strong understanding of Odoo or comparable ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics).
● Experience managing teams in a consulting or delivery environment.
● Excellent organizational and client management skills.
● Efficient English communication skills (100% of our clients are in the US and you need to communicate directly with the client’s business leaders)
● Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
● PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred but not required).
