Job description for Contract Engineer at QuEST Global Services Pte Ltd
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage full spectrum of respective subcontracting works, claims and measurement / bill of quantities
- Prepare tender document, bid checklist, secure bid and prepare bid evaluation and summary
- Ensure main contract terms, project specification and requirements are incorporated in the bid documents and subcontract document
- Procure all subcontracting work within budget and in accordance to comply financial guideline
- Issue work order
- Organise kick off meeting
- Prepare progress claims to client on timely manner
- Monitor, review and check subcontractor claims and invoice on timely manner
- Manage, prepare variation order and carry over work
- Monitor subcontracting cost and ensure it is within allocated budget
- Subcontract close out
- Perform cost control, cost analysis and reporting
- Any other assigned ad-hoc duties
Requirements:
- Degree in any Engineering disciplines
- Minimum 3 years of experience in contracts administration
- Familiar with offshore platforms, modules, FPSOs, jackets, etc. and onshore petrochemical plants will be an added advantage
- Good team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willing to commit overtime as and when required
