Conceive, pitch and write a rich and varied collection of articles, stories and projects for the foodie community in Singapore, in line with brand voice and values of Burpple.
Manage and advance Burpple’s Content Calendar to feature the right mix of hero and hub content across our web, app and social channels.
Work closely with growth team to produce several content types that perfectly fit each platform from articles to social media captions.
Propose creative ideas, collaborate and plan content for the editorial team covering Singapore and regional cities.
Contribute to art direction, design assets and execution of weekly discovery content, EDMs and marketing campaigns.
Develop the content strategy for Burpple, manage-end-to-end projects by coordinating between internal and external stakeholders for Burpple and for branded content.
Regularly measure and refine progress results to apply data-driven insights to future content strategies.
Mentor creative/marketing assistants or junior writers.
Understand writing requirements for SEO strategy, including researching keywords, adapting SEO-friendly formats and staying in touch with trending search topics, and skillfully incorporate these tactics into the copy.
Write short and long-form content, and other marketing collaterals for consumers as well as our F&B merchant partners.
Collaborate with internal departments and teams to develop monetisation opportunities and product team on issues such as navigation, page routing, page design.
Liaise with PR and brands for media drops and tastings, identifying content opportunities that are relevant to Burpple audience.
Build relationships with KOLs and nurture brand awareness, while gathering knowledge of industry trends.
Represent the brand at industry events and in media appearances.
Love for food is a must!
Experience creating and editing digital content for target audiences across all multimedia and social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok etc
Strong command of English
Excellent editing and fact-checking skills
Minimum 3 years relevant experience in the editorial team of a publication
Critical thinking and analytical capabilities, ability to interpret and analyse statistics, think logically, identify key themes and trends
Written versatility to suit a range of communication channels (online articles, reports and social media platforms) and the ability to adhere to Burpple editorial style
Adept at prioritising workload and keeping stakeholders informed
Knowledge of SEO optimisation within online content creation including a solid understanding of SEO principles to drive conversion
Experience with digital marketing functions including Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing, E-mail Marketing and PPC Marketing is a plus
