Job Specific: Automation Test
Domain: Fintech, Trading, Blockchain
You will own automation and quality gates across the entire system, including web UI, REST API, WebSocket, and sensitive financial flows. You will build the test framework, integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure test coverage and security readiness before each release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain E2E automation tests using Playwright for critical flows, including marketing, checkout, authentication, promotion, payout, broker, and ledger.
- Develop test suites for REST APIs, including contract testing based on OpenAPI specifications.
- Build automation tests for WebSocket, including schema validation, reconnect scenarios, duplicate messages, and degraded-state handling.
- Implement visual regression testing with Chromatic, performance/load testing with k6 for 500+ concurrent users, and accessibility automation.
- Integrate security automation into CI pipelines, including:
SAST: Semgrep / SonarQube
DAST: OWASP ZAP
Dependency and secret scanning: Snyk, TruffleHog
IaC scanning
- Set up CI/CD quality gates, ensuring:
Test coverage ≥80%
90%+ coverage for money flow, risk, and ledger-related flows
Milestone evidence packages for releases
- Manage test cases using Xray / TestRail.
- Build test data builders and vendor mocks.
- Monitor, analyze, and reduce flaky tests.
Must-Have Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright or Cypress, using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with C#/.NET is a plus.
- Experience testing REST APIs and WebSocket.
- Good understanding of idempotency and contract testing.
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Ability to maintain stable automation test suites with minimal flaky tests.
- Experience with test management tools such as Xray or TestRail.
- Ability to report and track test coverage.
- Strong quality and security mindset.
- Good at English (speaking skill)
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with load/performance testing tools such as k6 or JMeter.
Experience with security scanning tools and practices, including SAST/DAST, Semgrep, OWASP ZAP, and Snyk.
Experience in fintech, trading, event-driven systems, Kafka, or real-time systems.
Experience with contract testing tools such as Pact or OpenAPI-based testing.
Experience with visual regression and accessibility testing.
Understanding of CI/CD gating and release evidence in regulated or audit-controlled environments.
