Business Planning Officer (Japanese speaking)

Job Description:

1. New Business Development

• Identify, target, and engage potential clients, with a primary focus on the Asia market
• Conduct client meetings to understand business needs and challenges
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions
• Lead negotiations and close new business deals

2. Account Growth & Expansion

• Partner with the Marketing team to nurture and convert high-potential leads
• Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to maximize account value

3. Sales Performance Improvement

• Analyze lost deals to identify root causes and key improvement areas
• Recommend and implement enhancements across:
• Sales pitch and messaging
• Proposal quality and structure
• Client engagement approach
• Test and iterate new sales strategies with a data-driven, experimental mindset

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with:
• Planning team: proposal development and strategic direction
• Marketing team: lead generation and campaign alignment
• Delivery team: ensure smooth project handover and client satisfaction

Job Requirement:

Must have:

• At least 03 years in B2B sales
• (Functional skill Requirements) - Japanese Certificates: JLPT-N1 (or BJT J1 or above)
• Japanese Skill: Good at writing, speaking, reading, and listening.
• English skill: Good at writing, reading, speaking
• Strong ownership, acts with value-oriented mindset, result-driven
• Open communication attitude & Teamworking
