Job description for Business Development & Strategic Partnership Manager at Indonesia Airawata Finance
Job Purpose
Responsible for leading business development strategy, product collaboration, and strategic partnerships to drive company growth, increase usage, and expand into new verticals and segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to support business development planning.
- Develop business proposals and coordinate with Product and Tech teams for execution.
- Build sales pitch and strategies for new verticals or business segments.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Partnership team to execute joint business initiatives.
- Manage and maintain relationships with strategic partners (e.g.banks, and other MFIs).
- Develop joint initiatives with partners to increase usage and engagement.
- Oversee contractual agreements and operational aspects of partnerships.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities through partner channels.
- Monitor performance and optimize existing partnership initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Business Development, Partnership, or Strategic roles, with at least several years in a managerial or head-level position.
- Proven experience managing strategic partners (banking, fintech, multifinance, or digital platforms).
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and go-to-market strategy.
- Experienced in negotiation, deal structuring, and partnership management.
- Strong analytical skills with solid business and market insight.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Sales, and Operations teams.
- English proficiency is required.
- Ability to write PRDs and work in agile environments
- Proficient in Notion, Figma, Miro, and product collaboration tools
- Strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
