Position: Bridge System Engineer (Tech)
Level: Middle - Senior
Working model: Fulltime
Location: Onsite at client office – Tokyo, Japan
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Work directly with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and clarify system/business requirements, then transfer them to the Vietnam team.
- Review and validate requirement specifications, design documents, and test cases (bilingual: Japanese).
- Participate in legacy code assessment together with technical leaders.
- Lead and facilitate regular meetings with clients, including: requirement reviews, progress reporting, acceptance testing sessions.
- Handle escalations, issue tracking, and coordinate effectively between client and internal teams.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and go-live activities at the client site.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have:
- Japanese: JLPT N2 or above, business-level fluency
- English: Ability to read and understand technical documentation
- Solid technical foundation, with at least one of the following:
- Strong technical background (general engineering/IT base), OR
- Experience in web development (Full-stack or Backend) with 3–5 years of experience
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Japanese healthcare domain/business processes
- Experience in system integration
- Prior experience working onsite in Japan or directly with Japanese clients
- Experience using AI agent tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) in system migration processes
