Chi tiết công việc Senior Account Executive tại Brandup Vietnam

I. ROLE OVERVIEW
The Senior Account Executive independently owns day-to-day delivery for assigned retainer accounts and integrated campaigns, acting as the key link between clients, internal teams, and external partners. The role is expected to combine strong client service with commercial discipline, healthcare/beauty category sensitivity, and hands-on delivery across both high-volume advertising materials and IMC campaigns. This position is designed for a senior individual contributor who can be developed into an Account Supervisor.

II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Client & Retainer Account Management

  • Own day-to-day client communication for assigned accounts; understand business priorities, clarify requests, manage expectations, and maintain trusted working relationships.
  • Run retainer governance, including work-in-progress meetings, contact reports, approval tracking, monthly deliverable reconciliation, performance reviews, and forward planning.
  • Translate verbal or incomplete client requests into clear written briefs, success criteria, timelines, responsibilities, and approval requirements before work begins.
  • Anticipate risks and client concerns, propose practical solutions, and escalate material scope, timeline, quality, compliance, or relationship issues to the Account Supervisor/Account Director with clear options and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen account value, improve ways of working, and responsibly expand the scope of services based on demonstrated client needs.

2. Integrated Planning & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery across two core workstreams: (a) high-volume social/performance advertising materials and (b) IMC campaigns.
  • Build and maintain project plans, workback schedules, RACI/ownership, deliverable trackers, approval flows, and dependencies across Strategy, Creative, Content, Design, Media, Production, and external partners.
  • Coordinate brand onboarding, market and competitor reviews, debriefs, campaign proposals, presentations, implementation plans, post-campaign reports, and relevant project documentation.
  • Manage parallel workstreams and changing priorities without losing control of deadlines, quality, documentation, or stakeholder alignment.
  • Present recommendations and work confidently to clients; capture decisions, challenge unclear or unrealistic requests constructively, and drive the next actions to closure.
  • Coordinate vendors and third parties, ensuring that quotations, deliverables, timelines, and quality standards align with the approved scope.

3. Commercial & Operational Ownership

  • Prepare and manage scopes of work, cost estimates, resource assumptions, timelines, change requests, and supporting contract documents with appropriate senior review.
  • Monitor budget consumption, production costs, out-of-scope requests, team utilization, billing milestones, purchase orders, and payment follow-up; promptly flag risks to account profitability or cash flow.
  • Protect agreed scope while maintaining a constructive client relationship; document changes and secure approval before additional work is commissioned.
  • Maintain accurate account records and provide concise weekly/monthly status reporting on delivery, risks, budget, client sentiment, and opportunities.

4. Quality, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Review briefs, estimates, timelines, presentations, copy, artwork, media deliverables, and reports before release to ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and alignment with client objectives.
  • Establish clear version control, proofreading, approval, and release processes—particularly for high-volume advertising materials—to reduce rework and avoid publishing errors.
  • Conduct project retrospectives and turn recurring issues into practical process improvements, templates, or preventive checklists.

5. Team Leadership & Supervisor Readiness

  • Delegate clearly to Account Executives and Interns, set priorities, review outputs, coach through feedback, and take accountability for the quality and timeliness of delegated work.
  • Facilitate internal status meetings, resolve day-to-day delivery conflicts, and align cross-functional teams around the client objective and agreed priorities.
  • Act as the Account Supervisor’s reliable second-in-command and independently cover routine account operations when required.
  • Contribute to onboarding, knowledge sharing, reusable account-management standards, and a healthy, solutions-oriented team culture.

III. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Typically, 6+ years of relevant experience in an advertising, creative, digital, or integrated agency of relevant experience including at least 2 years at Senior level; proven ownership of accounts or substantial campaign workstreams is required.
  • Hands-on experience managing retainer accounts, multiple concurrent deliverables, and integrated campaigns from brief through launch and reporting.
  • Experience in Healthcare, Beauty, Cosmetics, personal care, wellness, or other regulated/claim-sensitive categories is strongly preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of social content, digital/performance advertising materials, production workflows, influencer/social outreach, media coordination, and IMC fundamentals.
  • Commercially literate: able to understand scopes, estimates, production costs, budget tracking, change control, billing milestones, and margin implications.
  • Strong client-facing communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills in Vietnamese; professional working English is preferred.
  • Structured and detail-oriented, with sound prioritization, documentation, problem-solving, and decisionmaking under pressure.
  • Demonstrated experience guiding junior team members and readiness to take on wider team and account leadership responsibilities within the next 6–12 months.
  • Practical proficiency with productivity and project-management tools; willing and able to use AI responsibly in daily account-management workflows.

IV. HR POLICIES

  • Salary: VND 19,000,000 – 21,000,000 gross per month.
  • Annual leave and statutory insurance in accordance with Vietnamese law and company policy.
  • Periodic health check at a leading international hospital and PVI health insurance.
  • MacBook provided as a working tool during employment.
  • Annual company trip, team-building activities, monthly birthday events, and team activities.
  • Dynamic working environment with periodic professional training and updated Digital Marketing practices.
  • Working hours: 9:00–18:00, Monday to Friday.
  • Work location: 12A Floor, Long Tower, 101–103 Nguyen Cuu Van Street, Gia Dinh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

V. APPLICATION INFORMATION

  • CV and a brief cover letter describing relevant account ownership and leadership experience.
  • Portfolio or selected case studies that clearly state the candidate’s role, scope, business challenge, delivery responsibilities, and outcome.
  • Professional profile links (LinkedIn and other relevant channels, if available)
