About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Backend PHP Developer to build and maintain web applications and APIs. You will play a key role in developing efficient backend logic, managing databases, and ensuring high performance across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy backend applications using PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter).
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize code for performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in backend development using PHP.
- Strong knowledge of at least one modern PHP framework (preferably Laravel).
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git, and basic DevOps tools.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
