Backend Cloud Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Design, develop, and maintain backend systems, APIs, and microservices for cloud-based products and platforms.

* Analyze business requirements and propose technical solutions that meet performance, scalability, and highavailability objectives.

* Build, deploy, and operate cloud-native applications and services on Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).

* Design and implement Event-Driven Architectures using messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or Amazon SQS/SNS.

* Containerize, deploy, and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and related cloud-native technologies.

* Develop and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation.

* Design, optimize, and secure APIs, databases, and system integration workflows.

* Collaborate closely with Frontend, DevOps, QA, and Product teams to deliver new features and resolve technical challenges.

* Monitor system health, analyze logs and metrics, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

* Conduct code reviews, share technical knowledge, and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.

* Participate in building and improving CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and software delivery processes.

* Research, evaluate, and adopt new technologies and tools, including AI-assisted software development solutions, to improve productivity and product quality.

* Proactively recommend and implement improvements in system architecture, performance, security, reliability, operational efficiency, and cloud cost optimization.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Nationality: Vietnamese/ Japanese, etc.

* Qualification: Master/ University/ College/ Vocational/ High School

* Year of Experiences: 2 – 6 years

* Preferred Language: English/ Japanese/ etc

(Compulsory Skills & Knowledge)

* 2-6 years of experience in backend software development.

* Proficiency in at least one backend technology stack: .NET, Java, Golang, or NodeJS.

* Experience working with at least one major cloud platform: Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).

* Practical experience deploying and operating applications using Dockerand Kubernetes (AKS/EKS preferred).

* Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, source control, testing, and CI/CD practices.

* Understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance optimization.

* Experience troubleshooting production systems and analyzing logs, metrics, and application behavior.

* Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

* Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ownership mindset.

* Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously improve engineering practices.

(Nice to have)

* Experience building or integrating Event-Driven Architectures using messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or SQS/SNS.

* Hands-on experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and Microservices Architecture.

* Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation.

* Experience with Kubernetes ecosystem tools such as Helm, ArgoCD, KEDA, Istio.

* Knowledge of Cloud Security, Observability, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.

* Experience with multi-tenant, SaaS, or large-scale cloud-native platforms.

* Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, and event-driven system design.

* Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, or Gemini.

* Relevant cloud certifications (Azure or AWS) are a plus.
