Job Overview

bTaskee is seeking a Senior Product Owner who will lead the definition, development, and optimization of our core products and features. This senior role focuses on delivering exceptional value to both Customers (service bookers) and Taskers (service providers). The Senior Product Owner will translate high-level business strategy into scalable, user-centric product solutions while mentoring the product team and driving cross-functional alignment in a fast-paced marketplace environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Product Strategy and Vision

  • Define and champion the product vision, long-term strategy, and multi-year roadmap, ensuring strong alignment with bTaskee’s business goals and market opportunities.
  • Conduct comprehensive market, competitor, and user research to identify strategic opportunities, emerging trends, and user pain points in the home services sector.
  • Lead prioritization of initiatives that deliver maximum business impact and user value.

2. Product Backlog and Requirement Management

  • Own and maintain the Product Backlog with a strategic focus, including grooming, detailed planning, and clear communication to engineering and design teams.
  • Craft high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed requirements that balance user needs, business objectives, and technical considerations.
  • Apply advanced prioritization frameworks (MoSCoW, RICE/ICE, etc.) and make trade-off decisions in ambiguous or high-stakes situations.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner closely with Engineering, UX/UI Design, QA, and other teams during planning, execution, and reviews to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Lead sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives and daily stand-ups, setting the bar for execution quality and team collaboration.
  • Manage senior-level stakeholder relationships to gather insights, align priorities, and drive consensus.
  • Mentor and support other Product Owners/Business Analysts where applicable.
  • Lead product launches, including internal enablement and coordination with Marketing and Operations for successful go-to-market execution.

4. Measurement, Optimization & Iteration

  • Define and monitor key product KPIs (Conversion Rate, Retention, Job Completion Rate, Tasker Satisfaction, etc.) using data-driven approaches.
  • Analyze user feedback, behavioral data, and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous iteration.
  • Champion experimentation and A/B testing to validate hypotheses and optimize the product experience.

Qualifications and Skills

Must have

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent, with at least 2 years in a senior capacity – preferably in tech startups, e-commerce, or on-demand/marketplace platform environment;
  • Proven ability to define product strategy and deliver impactful features that drive measurable business results;
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Firebase, Tableau, or similar;
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional Agile environments;
  • Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a passion for solving complex user problems.

Nice to have

  • Deep knowledge of UI/UX principles and experience collaborating closely with design teams.
  • Experience with growth hacking, A/B testing frameworks, or product-led growth strategies.
  • Familiarity with mobile app development lifecycles and two-sided marketplace platforms.
