Get to know the role:
- You’re a highly motivated and detail-oriented map operations coordinator who oversees our mapping operations.
- Managing and coordinating the daily operations of our mapping team, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality maps to our clients.
- Work directly with team leads in data analysis and reporting
- Assist other members of the team with the mapping process and ensure that all aspects are completed accurately and efficiently
- Collecting, monitoring, and analyzing large data sets using proprietary software & internal tools
- Receive, analyse and solve feedback from all related stakeholders
- Vendor coordination and project monitoring
The Must-Haves:
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Geography, or equivalent.
- Proficient in computer software ie. G-suite (GDocs, Gsheets, etc)
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in the English language
- Experience in data processing, analysis and validation in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with mapping experience are preferred but not required.
- Fast learner and able to work under minimal supervision
- Strong logic related to the nature of the job and detail-oriented.
- Passionate about maps with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven and highly motivated individual who can drive continuous project improvement
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced and impact-driven environment.
- Knowledge on data sources like OpenStreetMap is a PLUS.
- Willing to travel locally as needed
