Role: Associate, Retention Marketing – Indonesia
We are looking for a motivated, data-driven marketer to join our fast-growing music company.
In this role, you will own the development and optimization of our retention marketing efforts across all communication channels (push notifications, in-app, etc.), with the goal of driving long-term user engagement and loyalty. You will be responsible for campaign creation, creative copy, and campaign execution. In addition, you will test, measure, learn and adjust utilizing your analytical prowess.
The ideal candidate will be equal parts creative and analytical and have 1-4 years of experience with retention marketing using a user engagement software tool such as Braze, Iterable, Clevertap, Airship, and Appier.
This role will report to the Head of Music & User Engagement.
- Master an understanding of our product and user journey, including where users come from, their motivations, patterns, and how we can engage them.
- Manage creation of personalized user communication campaigns at scale, including transactional messages, triggered sends and welcome/onboarding campaigns.
- Ensure proper copy, imagery, links and audience targets for all campaigns
- Report on campaign results, using quantitative and qualitative analysis to provide insights for optimization
- Suggest and implement regular A/B testing to increase conversion and overall program efficiencies
- Work with significant independence and autonomy
- Fluency in both Bahasa and English.
- Expert-level knowledge of Clevertap, Appier, Airship, Braze, Iterable or a similar user engagement tool.
- 1-4 years of experience deploying push/in-app campaigns to drive engagement in an app-based product.
- Experience developing creative copywriting and A/B testing to improve conversions.
- Experience managing Marketing Automation at a scale of at least 500,000 sends per month.
- Knowledge of data integration methods and reporting tools including APIs and webhooks.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations.
- Track record of achieving goals with minimal oversight and direction.
- Open to the changing daily priorities necessitated by a startup.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends from home, as needed.
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS coding.
- Passion and knowledge of music trends, especially across genres of Indonesian music.
