The incumbent will assume a critical role in ensuring electronic products adhere to international standards. Through the role, he/she will gain a comprehensive understanding on existing test procedures required of the products and acquire stakeholder management skills through liaison with vendors and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and evaluate tests on EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and Telecommunication products to various international standards
- Prepare test and inspection reports
- Collaborate with vendors and other departments to resolve engineering issues or testing requirements
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure smooth execution of projects
- Undertake process improvement projects on testing facilities and services
- Perform equipment calibration as well as maintain and upkeep test facilities
- Shift work is required
Requirements:
- Diploma in Telecommunications/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics Engineering
- Candidates with relevant working experience in product knowledge will have an added advantage
- Results and service-oriented individual who possesses initiative and good communication skills
- Proactive team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines
- Enthusiastic and resourceful with a "can-do" attitude
