Assistant Working Capital and Treasury Manager has responsibilities for cash and treasury operations, short-term borrowing and investments, as well as payments, working capital management and cash flow management. Together with Cash management specialist monitors compliance with Treasury department goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cash management team
- Direct, monitor project portfolios including working capital, inventory, receivable, and payable.
- Responsible for overall Cash Management for business units within Bobobox Group
- Manage Account Receivable and Cash Collection towards achieving timely and end to end AR ownership in terms of outstanding and overdue for each cluster
- Participate in Supply Chain and/or Finance Performance Improvement engagements, which involve looking at inventory and project management
- Manage relationships with key banking institutions
- Monitor compliance activities associated with the usage of bank accounts
- Ensure minimum cash holding and maximization of available cash
- Provide liquidity reports for business units within the Bobobox Group
- Monitor and coordinate cash flow forecasting for business units within Bobobox Group
- Review weekly and monthly reporting of Bobobox performance against pre-set working capital targets
- Present net working capital report including inventory on hand report, inventory aging, receivable aging payable aging and cash balance report to Treasury and Internal Control Manager and Head of Finance
Requirements:
- Financial/Business/Accounting degree
- At least 4 years experience of Treasury Management Systems, cash flow management techniques and working capital management
- Proven leadership experience of multinational company, culturally diverse teams
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, problem solver
- Advanced skills in Excel and Powerpoint.
- Ability to multi-task and work within tight timelines
- High standards of Integrity and Reliability
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and across multiple teams
- Ability to take the Initiative to make decisions and problems solve
- Able to communicate effectively across internal & external parties
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Enjoys operating with a sleeves rolled up approach and can balance operational execution with leading a team
- Specialization in Treasury is added advantage
- Required Languages - English
