Responsibilities:
Restaurant Operations
- Supervise, support the Kitchen team, and operate operations according to standards;
- Maintain and improve food quality, speed, and preparation time;
- Assign and coordinate staff work to promote operational efficiency;
- Ensure all staff comply with food safety regulations and procedures;
- Monitor food safety and hygiene during events held at the restaurant;
- Cooperate with Department Leaders (service, kitchen) to grasp the operational situation of the entire restaurant and progress towards monthly targets;
- Work closely with the restaurant manager.
Maintain customer service
- Resolve customer complaints about food quality and service, and ensure operations comply with health and food safety regulations;
- Monitor food preparation processes, possibly as a person directly preparing food.
Inventory management, tools, and equipment
- Optimize the restaurant's business profits, especially food costs, manage inventory and order food, beverages, equipment, supplies to ensure quality according to standards, avoid waste, damage to goods, and food disposal;
- Preserve kitchen tools and assets, check and prevent non-working equipment and damaged items;
- Plan and arrange cleaning services, maintain equipment and facilities, and control insects when necessary.
Human resource management
- Coordinate work with other departments (HR, GA, SCM, ...);
- Train, coach, and encourage kitchen staff while performing tasks, draft and implement manuals;
- Create work schedules and evaluate staff performance.
Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in the Kitchen field and at least 1 year of experience in the position of Sous Chef/ Demi Chef;
- Able to withstand high work pressure;
- Have skills and experience in training and guiding employees;
- Have good leadership and team management skills;
- Have good problem-solving skills.
