AI Solutions Executive
mileon

The problem we’re solving
Mid-market and enterprise businesses across the Asia Pacific know they need AI but don’t know where to start. They’ve been pitched chatbots, dashboards, and tools that sit unused. What they actually need is someone who understands their business well enough to show them exactly where AI creates leverage — and then builds and operates the system that delivers it.
Mileon is an AI systems integrator. We build, run, and maintain production AI systems that replace manual operations: automated lead follow-up, proposal generation, CRM management, catalog operations, operational reporting. Clients pay monthly retainers because the systems keep running and keep improving.
Right now, commercial work is split between the co-founder and our BD lead. The co-founder handles the deepest engagements — the largest businesses that require strategic depth and in-person presence. The BD lead manages pipeline, client relationships, and the operational side of sales. But we’re growing, and we need someone who can take on client-facing commercial work end-to-end — from qualifying leads through to managing ongoing relationships — so the business can scale beyond what two people can carry.
What you’d actually do
This is an end-to-end commercial role. You own the relationship from first contact through to ongoing account management. You lead with outcomes and value — not features, not technology. Week to week:
Qualify and prioritise inbound leads — prospects come from paid ads, referrals, and automated outbound. You use our internal AI tools and HubSpot to triage, research, and decide who gets a call. No manual cold emailing — the system feeds you qualified leads.
Run discovery calls — 45–60 minute consultative conversations with business owners. You understand their operations, identify where workflows are broken, and map out where AI creates leverage. You’re a curious consultant, not a pitch machine. You lead with the outcome the client needs, not the technology behind it.
Architect client roadmaps — after discovery, you work with the product team to build a phased plan: what we deploy first, what data we collect, what we expand into. You understand Mileon’s module approach well enough to map it to any client’s operations.
Close and onboard — document preparation is largely automated. Your job is to get the yes, handle objections, and make the transition to delivery seamless. Clients start with a paid assessment, then move to a 3-month commitment.
Manage ongoing client relationships — weekly touchpoints. You know what the delivery team is building, you communicate progress and value, you spot gaps where we can do more. You handle the relationship with care — you know when to push, when to listen, and when to bring in the co-founder for strategic depth. Clients grow from initial engagements into full integrated systems. You grow the account.
Identify expansion opportunities — every client has operational gaps beyond what we initially solve. You see them, frame them in terms of outcomes and business impact, and expand revenue.
Your first 90 days
Day 1–30
Shadow 3–5 discovery calls and client check-ins. Learn the module approach, the tools (HubSpot, Linear, AI toolkit), and the client base. Take ownership of 2–3 existing client relationships. Close or significantly advance at least one deal that’s already in pipeline.
Day 31–60
Run discovery calls independently. Own 5+ client relationships with weekly touchpoints. Generate your first expansion proposal from an existing account. Build a working rhythm with the delivery team so nothing you sell falls through the cracks.
Day 61–90
Full pipeline ownership: qualifying, closing, and managing your book independently. At least 3 new clients closed or in final stages. The co-founder is no longer involved in deals under $5K/month — you handle them end-to-end.
What you must bring
Relationship intelligence — you’re naturally conversational, likeable, and persuasive. You know how to read a room, adapt your communication style, and build trust fast. People enjoy talking to you. You handle relationships with care and intentionality — you don’t just close deals, you build partnerships.
Outcome and value-first mindset — you never lead with features or technology. You lead with what the client gets: revenue recovered, hours saved, leads converted, operations running without manual intervention. Every conversation, every proposal, every follow-up is framed around business impact.
Business acumen — you understand how businesses run: revenue, costs, operations, bottlenecks. You can talk to a founder about their P&L as comfortably as you talk about their marketing.
AI literacy — you don’t need to code, but you need to understand what AI systems can and can’t do. You can explain how an automated proposal system works to a non-technical business owner in plain language.
English fluency — this is non-negotiable. Our clients are executives and business owners across Australia, Singapore, and the wider Asia Pacific region. You must communicate in polished, professional English at a level that builds immediate credibility in boardrooms and on calls with C-suite decision-makers.
Self-direction — you don’t wait to be told who to call or what to pitch. You prioritise your pipeline, identify your own opportunities, and manage your time. We give you tools and leads — you run the commercial engine.
Nice to have
Experience selling services (not just products) — consulting, agency, or managed services background
Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot especially) and sales automation
Completed Anthropic’s Claude courses or equivalent AI training
Able to create polished decks and client-facing materials using AI tools
Experience working with international clients across multiple time zones
How we work
Mileon is a growing team, three months old as a standalone company but spun off from an established software services firm. We exist to do one thing: implement AI systems that increase quality of life on a global level. We believe in the mission. We move fast. We radically address bottlenecks — even when the bottleneck is you. We are output-driven.
You talk directly to the founders and the delivery team. If a client needs something, you can get an answer the same day. We use HubSpot for pipeline, Linear to see what product is building, Google Drive for docs, and internal AI tools that make prospecting and qualification faster than any manual process.
We measure output, not hours. The office is home base, but we’re building our client base starting with Australia — you need to be comfortable adapting to client time zones, taking calls when they need to happen, and travelling when the business requires it. There’s no 9-to-5 rigidity. If a deal needs closing or a client needs attention, you handle it.
You’re not a cog in a sales machine. You’re the person who represents Mileon to the market. That comes with autonomy and accountability in equal measure.
Compensation
Base salary: 25–40M VND/month, depending on experience.
Commission: retention-based. For every client that stays beyond the initial 3-month commitment, you earn a percentage of their monthly retainer for as long as they remain. This isn’t a one-time close bonus — your commission compounds as your book of clients grows. The more clients you retain, the more you earn every month. There is no cap.
On-target earnings for a strong performer reach 45–70M VND/month within the first year, with significant upside beyond that as your book scales.
During your first 3 months, we guarantee a minimum variable floor of 15M VND/month while you build pipeline. You won’t be penalised for ramp time.
Where this goes
You’re joining early at a company in growth mode. In 12–24 months, this role evolves into one of two paths: Head of Commercial (owning the full revenue function, building and managing a sales team) or Strategic Accounts Lead (owning the largest, most complex client relationships directly). The trajectory depends on what you’re best at and where the business needs you most.
