About the Role
The Accounting & Tax Staff Intern supports the consulting team in executing day-to-day financial accounting and tax compliance activities for clients. This is a hands-on, learning-oriented role where the intern will work directly alongside senior consultants, gaining practical exposure to real client engagements across accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting — Execution Support
- Assist in preparing journal entries, accruals, and basic bookkeeping for client accounts
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities including data input and schedule preparation
- Help maintain and update clients' general ledger and supporting documentation
- Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations under supervision
- Organize and maintain financial records, vouchers, and supporting documents in an orderly manner
- Assist in compiling audit documentation and preparing audit support schedules
- Collect, organize, and verify tax-related documents and invoices from clients
- Assist in preparing tax reconciliations between financial statements
Client & Administrative Support
- Compile and organize client financial data received for processing
- Assist in preparing client reports, presentations, and working papers
- Coordinate document collection and follow-up with clients under guidance of senior staff
- Maintain organized engagement files both digitally and physically
- Support team with administrative tasks related to ongoing client engagements
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and Indonesian tax regulations
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Exposure to accounting software (Accurate, Mekari Jurnal, or similar) is an advantage
Soft Skills
- Eager to learn and proactive in taking on tasks

- Good communication skills and able to work in a team

Internship Details
Duration: 6 months
Working Hours: Hybrid - 3 Days WFO, 2 Days WFA (adjustable with academic schedule)
Placement: On-site / Hybrid
