Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and issue invoices to internal and external customers.
• Check, verify and record invoices in the accounting system.
• Check, verify, record invoices and prepare reports for Trade Union.
• Check and verify timesheet data on a weekly basis and extract timesheet data as requested.
• Create timesheet accounts and guide newly recruited employees on the time registration process.
• Create and close job numbers in the system upon request from the Project Management and Graphic Production Management departments.
• Prepare and check weekly annual leave reports for all departments.
• Record bank transactions in the Fast accounting system and vendor invoices in the Maconomy system.
• Prepare quarterly and annual reports for submission to the Vietnam General Statistics Department.
• Collect, verify, and register employees‘ Personal Income Tax (PIT) identification information.
• Calculate team budgets for all departments.
• Support other members of the Accounting team in handling tasks related to the Accounting Department.
• Ad-hoc assignment as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or Economics.
• Generally 1 to 3 years of practical experience for general or staff accountants, experience in foreign-invested companies (FDI).
• Familiarity with local regulations, tax laws, and Vietnam Accounting Standards (VAS).
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software like FAST, MISA.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written. English proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Has a positive, can-do attitude and willing to learn new things.
• High level of honesty, responsibility at work, attention to detail, organization, and strict adherence to deadlines.
