5. Go out of your way to understand the Client's need, market, product, marketing and business objectives, to provide best solutions. E.g. actively attends and visits clients events, openings and venues, product testing, recommends focus groups or research studies to Channel Planners when and if required
6. Develop succinct competitor analysis and integrate with brand planning customer insight research to establish a comprehensive brief.
7. Continually grow knowledge of both traditional and non-traditional marketing strategies and tactics and translate this knowledge into shaping service offerings
8. Coordinate interactions of other business units with the client and review all strategic proposals, presentations and formal documentation to the client. Ensure that all interactions are well documented in MOM with clear next actions to be taken.
9. Demonstrate detailed knowledge of the agency’s business solutions and work closely with clients to understand their business, the marketplace and the customers in order to recommend strategic solutions for the client's business.
10. Prepare team for Springboard sessions, sharing consumer, product and competitive information, while identifying potential client issues and offering solutions/uncovering opportunities.
11. Collaborate with Brand Planners to ensure the development of provocative, single-minded communications strategies.
12. Write and review all contact reports and ensure accuracy of reporting.
13. Keep management fully informed of account activity, challenges and opportunities.
14. Ensure that jobs are correctly billed and within budget.
15. Ensure agency systems and procedures are adhered to and/or improved to ensure client expectations are fulfilled while agency profitability is protected.
16. Proactively question and problem-solve with creative, production and media departments to ensure smooth progress on all client projects.
17. Establish brand non-working budget forecasts and manage client estimates and billing.
18. Display a superior understanding of the needs of each department (agency and client side when necessary) that will be involved in the execution of client projects. Provide key, relevant information to these departments in a timely manner.
19. Effectively field questions from various departments pertaining to a brand/project, by demonstrating an understanding of client objectives, issues and requirements.
20. Forge strong relationships among key partner departments (creative, media, brand planning, etc.) to facilitate the smooth progress of client projects.
21. Act as the primary contact with the client
22. Form strong bonds with clients; earning their respect and confidence.
23. Optimize and integrate all agency departments and resources through constant communication, ensuring that the client experiences a seamless process regardless of which department is being utilized.
24. Anticipate and resolve client issues. If required come to supervisor to discuss options for resolution.
25. Regularly liaise with senior agency personnel to ensure constant and timely communication of client issues, concerns or requests; and to keep informed of agency resources and/or profitability issues, which may impact client/Agency P&L.
1. S1 degree preferably from Mass Communications, Marketing or related field
2. 1-2 years experience in a agency, sales, marketing or customer relation management job
3. 3 years experience in Marketing/Advertising/Event Management
4. Basic understanding of ATL and BTL concepts.
5. Proficiency in English both oral and written
6. 2 years experience handling both ATL, BTL and TTL
7. Project Management experience
8. Experience in handling accounts in the business environment, which is the agency’s/business unit’s focus.
