Writer/ Researcher Intern — RICE Content & Media / RICE Channel TV
📍 Location: Working offline at our office — The Sun Avenue, 28 Mai Chi Tho St., An Phu Ward, Thu Duc City, HCMC
⏳ Duration: 3–5 months
💼 Type: Internship
Who we are
RICE Content & Media is the team behind RICE Channel TV, where we tell real stories about real people, and we bring that same "a good story lives on" energy into branded content for clients too.
The gig
We're on the hunt for a Writer Intern who loves words and loves people-watching (in the best way). You'll be turning raw interviews, footage, and ideas into scripts, captions, and stories that actually make people stop scrolling. This is a hands-on, in-office role — you'll be right in the room with our producers and editors, not just emailing from afar.
What you'll actually be doing
- Writing scripts and voiceovers for our documentary series and short videos
- Crafting captions, video descriptions, and social posts for YouTube, FB, IG, TikTok
- Digging through interview transcripts to find the real story hiding in there
- Helping brainstorm episode angles and content ideas
- Jumping into research for both RICE Channel TV and client projects
- Occasionally writing copy for brand campaigns
You might be a fit if you...
- Write well in Vietnamese and/or English (bilingual = bonus points)
- Are genuinely curious about people, culture, and everyday life in Vietnam
- Can take feedback without spiraling and revise fast
- Are studying or recently graduated in Journalism, Media, Comms, Literature, or something similar (or just have a solid portfolio to show us)
- Can commit to working from our office 3–5 months
What's in it for you
- Real credit on stuff that actually gets published
- Mentorship from people who've been telling stories for a while
- Full-pipeline experience — research, writing, production, publish
- A relaxed, no-BS creative team (we're serious about the work, not about hierarchy)
- Internship completion certificate if your school needs it
