Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to support the sales process by providing functional and technical consultation to prospective and existing customers.
This position works closely with the Sales, Product Management, Channel Enablement, and Solution Engineering teams to understand business requirements, design suitable ERP solutions, conduct demonstrations, and support customer acquisition activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a functional and technical resource throughout the sales process.
- Analyse customer requirements and recommend appropriate ERP solutions.
- Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and webinars.
- Support the sales team during customer meetings and solution discussions.
- Respond to RFIs and RFPs related to Epicor products and solutions.
- Provide business-process expertise in manufacturing, accounting, distribution, and workflow analysis.
- Collaborate with Product Managers by sharing customer feedback and product-development requirements.
- Support channel partners and their Solutions Engineers in positioning and presenting Epicor solutions.
- Share knowledge and best practices within the regional Solutions Engineering community.
- Travel approximately 20%–50% within the region.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of ERP presales experience or equivalent hands-on ERP operational experience.
- Candidates from ERP partners, distributors, or channel organisations may also be considered.
- Proven experience supporting both direct and channel sales.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing business processes is essential.
- Knowledge of distribution and finance processes is an advantage.
- Strong presentation and product-demonstration skills, with the ability to explain both the business value and technical functionality of a solution.
- Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, QAD, Infor, IFS, Oracle EBS, Exact, Sage, Digiwin, or equivalent solutions.
- Fluent Vietnamese and professional English communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- A degree in Industrial Engineering is an added advantage.
